The Canadian and British flags are the flags that fly at the Royal Canadian Military Institute, of which I am a member.

I'm holding a DVD of the made-in-Halifax TV series Lexx: The Dark Zone with Amy Kerr, who guest-starred as Desh in the Lexx episode "791" (season 2, episode 9). In "791", Desh is covered in icky alien slime and crawls out of an alien pod, but she's still so beautiful. Toronto, June 27, 2004. See her website www.amykerr.ca

With Playboy Playmate Angela Melini (Miss June 1992) at the Wizard World Chicago comic book convention, August 6, 2005. There are no former Playmates; once a Playmate, always a Playmate. Ms. Melini's website is at www.angelamelini.com.

With Playboy Playmate Cathy St. George (Miss August 1982) at the Wizard World Chicago comic book convention, August 6, 2005. Isn't that a gorgeous yellow dress? Ms. St. George is also a talented make-up artist.

I'm with Whitney Iuliano, second runner-up of the Miss Hooters of Canada 2005 pageant (left), and Katherine Ryan, Miss Hooters of Midtown Toronto 2004 (right) at the Miss Hooters of Niagara bikini contest, November 16, 2005. Whitney has the largest photo in the international section of the 2006 Hooters calendar. Why am I at the Miss Hooters of Niagara pageant? Research...

With Major General Richard Rohmer, the D-Day 65th Anniversary Ceremony, Queen's Park, Toronto, June 6, 2009. Gen. Rohmer flew over Normandy on D-Day.
Interestingly, Gen. Rohmer is also a science fiction writer of a sort; in the 1970's and 1980's, he wrote some "future history" novels such as Separation (Quebec separates) and Ultimatum (U.S. invades Canada) and technothrillers such as Starmageddon (U.S.-Soviet space war) and Periscope Red (Soviet submarine).
